Norsat BPF-C-1 filter
Product model: Norsat BPF-C-1
Satellite narrowband filter, which can effectively shield out of band interference signals from C-band receiving antennas, has characteristics such as low insertion loss and low group delay (typical value ≤ 8 ns), and has a special operating frequency range of 3700 MHz to 4200 MHz.
The satellite bandpass filter is installed between the satellite antenna feed source and the high-frequency LNB to suppress strong out of band interference caused by 5G base station signals.
From the frequency allocation of 5G signals that have been planned and officially commercialized, the operating frequency (3400 MHz to 3600 MHz) is exactly in the extended frequency range of C-band satellite reception. However, the frequency operation scale of the high-frequency head used in the field of broadcasting and television is currently 3400 MHz to 4200 MHz, and the strength of 5G signals is much greater than that of C-band satellite signals. Therefore, 5G signals will inevitably disturb the reception of adjacent C-band satellite signals.
The use of this satellite filter can suppress the out of band 5G signal of the RF signal before entering the high-frequency head for down conversion, avoiding mixing harmonic interference caused by strong out of band signals
The C-band is an unprotected communication frequency band, with more interference signals from radar, microwave, and other sources. Therefore, the phenomenon of satellite TV signals being disturbed is more prominent in various regions, and images often exhibit mosaic and black field phenomena, seriously affecting the viewing effect.
The BPF-C-1C-band satellite filter produced by Canadian company Novotech can effectively filter out interference signals such as radar and microwave, effectively improving the quality of satellite digital TV images
